You may receive an email from Facebook® with the subject New Developer Alert for Example at example.com, where Example is the name of your social sign-in integration app for logging in to WHMCS and example.com is your website address.
This email includes information about an App Review deadline for retaining access to Facebook Platform APIs.
Cause
Access to certain permissions and features of the Facebook API now require inspection and approval by the Facebook platform moderators.
WHMCS's sign-in integration does not require these permissions.
Solution
WHMCS does not require access to the permissions or features of the Facebook API that currently require approval.
The WHMCS Sign-In Integration only uses the following permissions:
public_profileemail
No action is necessary and you can safely ignore the email.
